FOX didn’t air the Opening Ceremony in the US - I hate the football culture in the US

Why does Fox spend all that money on buying the rights to air the World Cup and not even do it right? They have a bunch of world cup content and they didn’t care for airing the ceremony?? Im already frustrated with the lack of world cup vibes in the US. There is absolutely nothing in NYC as they only care about the damn knick Edit: apparently they’ll air it an hour late.
