seeing all of the tourists enjoying themselves has given me a lot of hope

i'm not even really keeping up this year to be honest, but as an american, seeing all of you enjoying yourselves and interacting with locals makes me really happy. i'm glad that the world is finally starting to understand that the average american isn't like *that.* this has taught me a lot about my own country too, mostly that we are very much capable of stepping up and making changes for the better, especially in our government. i'm nowhere near any of the stadiums, but i hope i can speak for...
