Basketball Shootout 3D

Basketball Shootout 3D puts you on the free-throw line of a packed arena. Swipe up toward the hoop and the ball flies where you point: the direction of your swipe aims it, and its length sets the power. A ghost hand shows the perfect swipe on your first shot, and while you swipe a dotted guide shows where the ball will fly: on the first levels a ring marks where it comes down and turns green when the swipe is perfect.

Sink the target number of baskets before your balls run out to clear the level. A clean swish that touches nothing but net scores 3 instead of 2, and the net whips as the ball drops through. Make three in a row and the ball catches fire: every basket counts double while the crowd goes wild, until you miss.

Every level moves you a little further back. From level 4 the hoop starts to slide along the baseline, stopping for a moment at each end, and later it loops in a figure-eight that bobs up and down. Every fifth level is a Clutch round with a quicker hoop, one more basket to make and one more ball to make it with.

From level 6 the guide gets shorter, so you judge the rest yourself. Missed a few? The game tells you whether to swipe a little longer or shorter. Assist mode keeps the whole guide on every level, gives you a bigger rim and wider aim, and is offered with two more balls after a tough loss.
