How to play

  • Steer your kart into the other karts and bump them off the edge into the ball pit.
  • The floor tips toward the side with more karts: stay on the high side and let the slope help your bumps.
  • Tap the dash button (or press Space) for a quick dash: a dash bump pushes the hardest.
  • The last kart on the floor wins; when time runs out, the kart with the most bumps wins.
  • Kids Mode (tap the turtle): the kart drives itself, a rubber wall keeps you on the floor, and you only steer.

Controls

  • Phone or tablet: Drag the wheel to steer, hold GO to drive, hold STOP to brake and back up, tap the πŸ’¨ button to dash.
  • Keyboard: ← β†’ or A D to steer, ↑ or W to go, ↓ or S to brake then back up, Space to dash.
  • Mouse: Point to steer, hold the left button to go and the right button to brake and back up. Click the πŸ’¨ button or press Space to dash.
  • Gamepad: Left stick to steer, RT to go, LT to back up, A to dash.

Tips

  • Stay near the middle and on the high side of the floor: karts on the low side slide toward the edge.
  • Bump rivals from the middle outward, so your push sends them toward the edge, not back in.
  • Save your dash for a rival near the edge while the floor is tipping their way.
  • If you start to slide over the edge, brake and steer back in fast: you can still save it for a moment.

About this game

Bumper karts, one round floor, and a soft ball pit below. In Bumper Kart Arena you drive a little fox in a bumper kart and try to be the last one on the floor. Steer into the bear, the cat, the frog, the pig and the owl, bump them toward the edge and watch them splash into the colorful balls.

The twist: the whole floor sits on one pivot and tips under the karts' weight. When karts crowd one side, that side dips, everybody slides downhill, and a well-timed bump while the floor is tipping sends a rival sailing off the edge. Stay on the high side, wait for the floor to rock, then dash in. A yellow arrow on the floor shows which way it tips.

The cup has five giant toy arenas with three rounds each: a birthday cake, a toy drum that bumps extra hard, a spinning top that slowly turns, a cheesy pizza that is slippery, and a record player. The first four rounds have a rubber wall around your kart while you learn; from round 5 you can fall too. From round 4 the outer ring of the floor folds away when the horn sounds, so the arena gets smaller and the bumps get tense.

Every bump scores points, every rival you push off scores more, and winning a round scores the most. Your best round scores add up to your cup score. Win trophies for each arena and fill your Splash album with every critter you bump into the pit.

Bumper cars only: no crashes, no damage, just soft bumps, boings and ball pit splashes. For younger players, Kids Mode (tap the turtle) makes the kart drive itself, a little slower, with a soft rubber wall around the floor, so they only steer.
